This guidebook was our most valuable investment when we hiked the Hadrian’s Wall Path. It outlines the entire route no matter which end you start from, and has handy maps and illustrations as well as details of campsites and BnBs. Highly recommend buying this book to accompany you if you’re hiking the HWP!

Like Scrabble, but at speed and with a travel-friendly banana storage pouch! We love taking Bananagrams to house sits to spread out on the dining table and play a few rounds.

Six Second Scribbles
Each player is given 10 items to draw in just 60 seconds, and the other player has to guess what’s been drawn! Another quick-fire game that always makes us laugh, as we desperately try and decipher the other person’s scribbles.

We invested in a Nintendo Switch each so we can play games on the road, on long travel days. We also love bringing the dock to house sits, so we can plug into the TV and play together!
